Preventive Maintenance Agreements (PMAs) are agreements between you and Comfortmasters for scheduled inspections and maintenance of your heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system.
PMAs are generally scheduled semi-annually to maintain peak efficiency, prevent utility overpayment and avert system failures through preventive maintenance that can help extend the life of your HVAC system. Sometimes PMAs are also referred to as “planned maintenance agreements,” “start and checks,” or “preventative service agreements.” PMAs usually consist of fall and spring scheduled sessions for one of our certifed service technician to go through your entire HVAC system to prepare it for the upcoming season in a proactive approach before system failure and prior to overpaying your utility company.
During a home comfort system’s lifetime, it's only logical to assume that your system might need an occasional tune up along the way. Would you drive your car 100,000 miles without oil changes or some kind of maintenance? The same holds true for your home comfort system.
Regular preventative maintenance is the best way to ensure trouble-free operation and peak performance. It also keeps your system running at its optimal efficiency levels, which keeps energy usage and your energy bills in check and gives you peace of mind.
Pre-season maintenance can also help you avoid a system failure on the hottest or coldest day of the year. It can also help you avoid a frantic search for an air conditioning or heating dealer that can repair or replace your broken system.
Comfortmasters provides priority service for their customers who have an annual maintenance or service agreement.

| A typical vehicle in Jacksonville is driven approximately 15,000 miles per year, which equates to 700 driving hours. During that time you will have changed the oil in your vehicle up to 5 times. In Jacksonville, Florida the typical home comfort system runs approximately 2,800 hours per year. If you drove your car 2,800 hours in a year, you would have changed your oil up to 15 times. Doesn't it make sense that your home comfort system should be maintained twice per year? |
